Manufactured in Taiwan in the middle of the 1960s.Until the 1970s, Necchi was a widely recognized brand in the USA.In 1954, The Singer SMC learned that Arnaldo Vigorelli (former engineer from Necchi) had introduced into the US a modified form of its multi-cam machine that incorporated Singer "306" machine design and basically was a modified form of Singer's expired US Tiesler Patent. Vigorelli had not obtained a patent in the US for his machine.
